Vintage Teacup & Saucer Wow! This auction is for a very rare vintage teacup and saucer set that was actually used and taken from a dinning car on the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad (marked on bottom). The bottom is dated 1946 and indicates it was made by Sterling China. It is pretty simple in design and just has some grey pinstripes around the edges. It is a very nice piece and guaranteed old and authentic from the railroad. The bottom is not marked. Cup measures about 2¼" tall and saucer is 3½" wide. Very rare! In excellent condition with no chips or cracks. They do need a good cleaning, and the saucer has some natural speckling in the center, but that was done during manufacturing. Very nice set!
