Here we have an 1/87 HO scale Atlas Silver Series # 10 001 231 General Electric Dash 8-40CW locomotive dressed up for Conrail #6059. This is a Conrail Quality SCHEME unit, with blue paint & white graphics. Underframe & trucks are black. Build date is ?-??, but I believe it was sometime in the late mid - to - late 1990s. This piece is absolutely brand new, never used or run except for a function check. Note that this being a Silver Series piece, it DOES NOT have DCC or Sound. It will be up to the new owner to provide these if so inclined. This was a unit that was back - ordered in duplicate by mistake, so unfortunately, I have no real use for it . This was purchased in stated condition by me and has been well kept. O riginal box with this one is as new, and it will be wrapped & shipped securely. Discoloration in photo is a flash spot, not a flaw. This is a real nice piece, and a good, inexpensive way to fill out your HO locomotive fleet. Sorry, but this must be sold AS-IS . This is perfect for your modern railroad. I hate to give this up, but I can't fit everything on my layout . These are becoming difficult to find at the hobby shops and swap meets.
