Hello fellow Ebayers! Here is another magnificent item from Industrial Models,,, Model # 1104 Up for bid is 1 2 Rail O scale Atlas Chesapeake & Ohio 2 Bay Hopper Car built and weathered by Don at Industrial Models. The car was 3 rail but Industrial Models converted it to 2 rail and added, Kadee couplers, and coupler cut bars. Then it was hand weathered inside & out to create a very realistic looking hopper car car that seems like it has seen many years of use on the railroad. The inside of the hopper looks amazing with the way that it was done, it looks like "real" steel. The detail on these Atlas O cars is unbelievable, then add the great weathering that Don does, and you have 1 outstanding model! It will be great as a display unit or on a layout. I have only had it on display in a sealed oak and glass display cabinet. It will be wrapped and kept in it's original box and boxed for delivery to the new owner with insurance. **Bridge & accy's not included** If anybody has seen or owns a piece of Don's work of Industrial Models, then you know how great of a job he does in not only weathering, but in creating a realistic looking masterpiece! I would go as far as to say that it is a piece of art! The detail on this model is unbelievable and must be seen in person to truly appreciate it.
