Excellent and very scarce registered flight cover from Australia in 1929.Cover was registered in Melbourne, and inscribed for the first flight from Camooweal to Daly Waters. Attractive airmail sticker from Trans-Australia Air Mail. Cover was unclaimed in Darwin and returned to the sender in Essenden, Victoria. Wild array of backstamps of great postal history interest. Hand cancel backstamps were applied in Camooweal, Brisbane, Sydney, Darwin, Melbourne and Essenden on a variety of dates in February and March 1930. Franked with excellent airmail stamp and 4 1/2 pence King George V stamp perforated 14, issued in 1927. The KGV stamp is Scott no. 74, Gibbons no. 92. Excellent cover here and very desirable item.
