Chromolith pop-up 3D advertising trade card for the Paris department store, AU BON MARCHE, with landmark illustrations of CONSTANTINOPLE. Scans show the front cover with, open centerfold, and back advertising illustration of store. It is difficult to see on the scan, but the centerfold becomes a 3 dimensional pop-up when the card is opened. The gray shadow appearing on the center is from the scan and not on the card. The store illustration on the reverse mentions the Exposition Universelle of 1900, and (unusually) is multicolored with a more florid Art Nouveau design than most of the earlier cards. Piece (closed) measures approximately 3" x 5". Entire piece is in excellent condition with no real defects. I have many NEW listings of ephemera including beautiful menus (1860's - 1920's), chocolate and other product trade cards, luggage labels, poster stamps, art nouveau postcards and other forms of vintage paper advertising, particularly food, wine, and automotive. Please check my full listings and eBay store as I have just added NEW ITEMS!!! All items are ORIGINAL , not reprints, unless otherwise noted. I try to describe each lot as accurately as possible. Thank you for looking!
