You are bidding on (1) M-Audio BX5a Studiophile monitor with power cord I know, I know, t are two monitors pictured. Well I bought these untested and didn't even have a true idea as to what they were even used for. Much to my dismay only one, marked BX5a5422238-2 works as designed. The other, marked BX5a5422238-1 did not. The power light comes on and sometimes it "pops" or "hums" but no other sounds. I was able to plug my guitar into the working monitor and hear a nice clean sound.Both monitors have been previously enjoyed and show signs of wear. They are not ready for a beauty contest to be sure, but both cabinets are sound and the speaker cones are complete with no holes or tears.The smaller speaker cones on each monitor have small "dents" but are other wise in great shape.Since only one monitor is working properly, bidding during this auction should reflect the working monitor only. The winning bidder is welcome to have the non-working monitor as well for no additional cost, except for increased shipping.
