You are looking at a very gently used AR LS12. Considered by some to be one of the finest Solid State pre-amps ever made. It has that tube like sound, without the tubes. I have used the pre-amp with both tube and solid state amps and the one thing I can say is that it just sounds awsome. The unit is very quite, completely transparent with a lifelike timber and decay of tones... are its specs: Frequency response ± 1dB, 0.1Hz to 40kHz at rated output. -3dB points below 0.06Hz and above70kHz Distortion (THD) .01% at 2V RMS Balanced output Noise & hum 40µV RMS residual IHF-A weighted Balanced noise output with gain control at minimum (94dB below 2V RMS output) Gain Main output: 18dB Balanced 12dB Single Ended output Tape output: 0dB Balanced.
