This is another cover that is best explained in the picture. This envelope was flown entirely inside Germany from Frankfurt Rhein Main to Lorch, Wurtt in 1939 via the AIRSHIP GRAF ZEPPELIN. Franked with beautiful German Air Mail stamps featuring Eagles and Swastikas around the globe. These were of course the main symbols of Hitler's Third Reich. Stamps are very very clean. Hand stamp cancellations are very attractive with the lower one featuring a picture of the Graf Zeppelin. Not sure if it was an on board stamp or not. Nice cachet with industrial design at the left and a Graf Zeppelin postal message below. This is a RARE COVER that reeks of the emerging industrial war machine that ravaged most of Europe during WWII. Envelope is very clean and has only minor toning/yellowing. A very nice example of a 100% GERMAN FLOWN GRAF ZEPPELIN AIR MAIL COVER in extremely nice condition. This cover is what cover collecting is all about. It is loaded with images marking the dawn of one of the darkest periods in human history.. I will open bidding at $19.99 with no reserve. Shipping via First Class mail will be free to the lower 48. Insurance optional. International bidders welcome but must contact me at auction end to determine specific location S/H/I costs. Good luck on this really well preserved piece of history.
