THIS IS A TRULY FANTASTIC PIECE OF ART

THIS A GORGEOUS PORCELAIN WHITE LIPIZZANER STALLION WITH HIS RIDER/HANDLER. THEY ARE PERFORMING THE
"PIROUETTE" WHICH IS TAUGHT IN THE DRESSAGE DISCIPLINE. THESE LEAPS AND MOVEMENTS ARE CALLED "AIRS ABOVE THE GROUND". THEY WERE PERFORMED TO PROTECT THE RIDERS DURING BATTLE. THE PORCELAIN BASE THAT THE HORSE AND RIDER ARE POSED ON REPRESENTS THE SANDY ARENA OF THE SPANISH RIDING SCHOOL.

THIS BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF ART SHOWS THE FAMOUS WHITE STALLION, FULLY INTACT, AND HIS RIDER AS THEY ARE ATTIRED IN THE AUTHENTIC REGALIA OF THE SPANISH RIDING SCHOOL. THE GILDED TACK AND TASSLES, ALONG WITH THE UNIFORM OF THE RIDER IS AS FINELY DETAILED AS ARE THE METAL HORSESHOES ON THE HORSE'S HOOVES, THE VARIOUS OTHER PIECES OF EQUIPMENT, AND THE TRICORN HAT OF THE RIDER. THE LIPIZZANER BREED WAS FOUNDED IN 1580 BY AUSTRIAN DUKE CHARLES. AFTER CROSSING A DRAFT TYPE ANIMAL WITH ARABIAN BLOODLINES, TIN PRODUCING THE TYPE OF HORSE DESIRED, THEY HAVE BEEN LINE BRED TO BE THE COMPACT AND POWERFUL BREED WHICH ENABLES THEM TO BE A QUICK YET POWERFUL MACHINE OF WAR. IN MODERN TIMES, THEY ARE USED IN SHOWS AND IN COMBINED TRAINING EQUESTRIAN EVENTS.

HE IS IN THE UPPER RIGHT HAND CORNER OF THE DISPLAY CASE. HE ALSO COMES WITH HIS ORIGINAL BILL OF SALE AND THE ORIGINAL WOOD PLINTH THAT IS CUSHIONED IN BLACK VELVET.
