Auspicious Autographs Description: This is an original vintage leather pre-war Augie Galan fits left hand, laced up, split finger leather button back baseball glove. Original lacing. Leather piping. Manufactured by: JC Higgins. All marking are visible, some are slightly faint. Augie Galan (b. 1912-1993) was a major league baseball player. He was a left fielder. Played for the Dodgers, NY Giants, Cincinnati Reds, and Cubs. Glove has typical wear from age and use. In the fourth image you can see the glove stand-this is no included in this purchase. No reserve. Condition: Normal wear from age and use. Lining on the inside, tips of fingers have cracks and wear. Scuffs and scratches. Button is still intact. Leather piping has mild wear. Lacing needs some repair. Please see images for details. Measurement: 9.5 inches long. 9.5 inches wide.
