Aunt Jemina Black Americana MAMMY COOKIE/Biscuit JAR Up for bids is a Wonderful Example of Black Americana! It looks like an Aunt Jemina or MAMMY COOKIE JAR! She stands about 11 1/2" tall and features a beautiful Deep Green dress with Polka Dot Bandana and matching sleeves edge. Her White Apron has been Hand Painted with Beautiful, summertime flowers and matching polka dots. This really dresses her up! Her facial features are Hand Painted and Expertly So! Would be difficult to find a better example of Black Americana than this and its so Useful! Mammy is not an old cookie jar. Her Hand Painted features have been fired so they will not wash off as Cold Painted items. This item has been displayed only. T will be no chips, flea bites, glazing or damages of any kind. Bid with complete confidence in this one, she is a Rare Find! I use the USPS postal service for shipping, and I also try to use their Priority boxes when I can, since these are free.
