Aurora produced their ThunderJet/TJet slotcars in the 1960s and early 1970s, and I bought this one new at the time. The model is a classic Ford Torino muscle car, which among its other distinction, was Ford's NASCAR entry. The car is in original condition with no modifications. It looks very good. I attached test leads to verify that the motor runs, but the car should be cleaned and oiled for regular usage. NOTE: other than light cleaning, I do not alter the appearance of these old cars. Some sellers will spray or wipe the bodies/windshields with liquid wax, which is a technique favored by plastic model builders to hide scratches and create a shine - but I prefer to show the car in its true condition and in close-up photos. I combine shipping costs for multiple purchases and only charge actual postage fees (i.e. no hidden handling charges). If you buy multiple items, please I will then send a combined invoice showing the savings in shipping charges.
