This the 1/12 scale model kit of John F. Kennedy by Aurora, kit number 851.

This is a genuine vintage collectible plastic kit from 1965. I features a one-foot tall figure of President Kennedy, seated in a rocking chair beside the fireplace in the Oval Office. The United States flag is beside the President, and a painting of PT-109 is hanging above the mantel.

This kit is 100% complete and very, very close to "mint" condition. T are a few tiny wear marks and a small wrinkle on one corner of the top of the box. Otherwise, you are looking at an Aurora collectible that is in near-perfect condition. This kit belonged to a serious collector of Kennedy memorabilia and was carefully kept in storage. I found it at the estate sale.

The plastic bag in the kit appears to have been tied shut at the factory--I did not open it. I did inventory the parts inside the bag and this kit is complete. It is unstarted. All of the parts are attached to the trees with two exceptions. The two head parts have been removed from the tree. Also, t appears to be an additional flag pole. The extra pole is not in the bag with the other black parts--but t is another flag pole in that bag so one of them is a spare.

The parts are unbroken, undamaged and in every way are in excellent condition. The box is in excellent condition as well, as you can see from the photos. The instruction sheet is also in excellent condition. T is a fabric flag and a little print of the PT-109 painting.

Don't miss this opportunity. I strongly doubt that you will find this kit in better condition.

I will ship this kit anyw in the world. You pay the calculated postage. I will pack it very carefully, I will not stuff packing material in the kit box and I will make certain that the box does not open and spill the contents during shipment. I will use a large enough box and packing material to provide a cushion against most kinds of incidents. For this auction, I will pay for insurance and delivery confirmation.

I will combine shipping if you buy more than one item--but you must message me for the amount of postage to pay since the ebay calculator doesn't work properly for lightweight items.

International bidders (outside the USA) please read this: The cost of mailing a model kit internationally is determined primarily by the size of the box, not the weight. This is because the most practical method of shipment is Airmail Letter Post and some very large kits are too large to mail this way. If a kit cannot be mailed using Airmail Letter Post (or Global Priority Mail which has the same size restriction) then I will note that in the listing, and offer to REMOVE THE KIT BOX to get you a lower shipping rate.
