Great Painting of this Beautiful Australian Cattle Dog hand painted on the INSIDE of this Snuff Bottle!! The bottle is 3 1/2" high, is made of heavy crystal, and is painted by a very advanced artist! This is an ancient Oriental Art Form which takes years to master. Each bottle is an original painting. The painting is usually done with very fine bamboo slivers that end in sharply bent points. The paint is applied with these unusual "brushes" through the narrow mouth of the bottle. The technique is very difficult and the number of painters in China who can do this is very limited. The Bottle has a natural stone lid with a bone spoon attached. The day is coming soon when work of this quality will no longer be affordable. Sure to increase in value over the years. An original work of art in miniature! Please note that due to the curved glass on the bottles, it is very difficult to photograph them without losing some of the detail. And when you stop to think about it, figurines that are stamped out by the thousands cost as much or more than these 1 of a kind bottles, you will see that they are truly a bargain!
