Austrian WWI all steel ersatz bayonet having an overall length of 15.5 inches, hilt with squared muzzle ring, hilt leaf spring secured by two (2) domed rivets. Bayonet complete with scabbard having faint maker's mark on the frog stud as well as an Imperial Austrian military proofmark. Very seldom offered for sale, this type ersatz bayonet is among the rarest of all the ersatz models as used by the Central Powers in WWI, metal surfaces with normal wear and present an overall semibright to bright finish, overall very good condition.
