This is a leather hat bill, exactly like the one that Don Knotts wore on the Andy Griffith Show as Barney. He signed the dull leather hat bill in Gold Sharpie marker.........and he even added his character name of Barney Fife. The leather bill is a true dull leather cap bill, just like he would have wore on the show. The hat bill was dull because they didnt want any glare coming from it that would reflect glares on the camera shots while filming the show. The hat and bill are vintage. I removed the leather bill from the hat because I was going to have it reattached to a khaki colored cap but never got around to it. You will receive the hat, the autographed bill, and the picture of Don Knotts holding this exact Cap at the time of the signing. Awesome piece! This is a sweet piece!!!!!
