This is a fine example of an original and complete Stover bracket lamp. The lamp holder is what I call the fancy design model with the Ideal logo stamped inside. The bracket is also original with the Patent date June 7, 1881 stamped on it. That is for patent no. D12301 filed on April 30, 1881 by F. Robert Seidensticker and assigned to Bradley and Hubbard Company. The reflector which is in great shape has a 71/4 inch diameter. I did not get a wall bracket when I acquired this lamp, however I did find a original wall bracket that is stamped Stover Mfg. Co., so the set is complete. The wall bracket needs to be restored, but the arm and bowl look like they just were purchased. They are fantastic . I hope you can see that in the pictures. The lamp is what I consider generic for this bracket. The chimney is probably a modern replacement. PLEASE NOTE: The black wall bracket shown in the picture of the lamp on the wall is mine used for the photo. You get the bracket shown in the other pictures that matches the lamp .The picture of the lamp on the wall makes the brackets look much darker than they are. Please see the other pictures. I have two other bracket lamps for sale, no's 110121382550 and 110121390025. If you purchase more than one I will include a wall bracket for mounting 2 lamps together. This is fine example of early lighting would be a nice addition to any collection. Please email me if you have any questions. Thank you for looking.
