There is no band around the coin. I do not know how to grade coins but I have provided enough photos and information below to make your own determination. Thank you for your interest! Composition: .900 silver, .100 copper HISTORY : Interesting Facts: The first specimen struck was bought for $10,000 by the firm that made Remington typewriters, as a publicity stunt.
