This is an authentic alaskan made deerhide hoop drum. It was made in 1998 by Taat's studio in Klawock, AK by Kathy Kato, a local native artist. It has a Bear design on the front and has the 'handle' made out of deerhide on the back. This is a large drum, 17 inches across and 2 1/2 inches thick. A beautiful piece of REAL alaskan art...........Good luck!
