100% AUTHENTIC ANASAZI STONE METATE ARTIFACT FROM DOLORES COUNTY COLORADO. You are bidding on (1) Authentic Anasazi Stone Metate Artifact from Dolores County, Colorado. This well formed Metate was found in a ruin. This artifact was used in their daily chores to prepare food. This Stone Metate shows excellent use wear and patination. It weighs about 4 + pounds. Given the incredible scarcity of Ground Stone artifacts found in the Deserts of Colorado, this is an incredible chance to add an impressive artifact to your collection. Over Twenty years ago I had the rare opportunity to help a close friend excavate a Anasazi Ruin and build a house on his Private property in Dove Creek, Colorado. I was given a nice collection of artifacts for my labor as a young man. This is an actual artifact from that sight. All of my Artifacts are 100 % Authentic and were obtained legally from the 30's to the late 60's and will Paper with any of the Top Artifact Authenicators. My Artifacts come from the states of Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Wyoming, Oregon, Nevada, New Mexico, Idaho, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Georgia, Missouri, Florida, Washington, California, and the Great Basin Area.
