Artemide "Alistro Tavolo" Fluorescent Desk Lamp: Producer: Artemide: Italy: Designer: Ernesto Gismondi: C1970: - 44" Legendary iconic Mid-20th Century classic modern design: The "Alistro Tavolo" fluorescent desk lamp designed by Ernesto Gismondi original co-founder of lighting manufacturer Artemide Italy, produced circa 1970. CONDITION: Overall Excellent presentation / working condition. No discoloration or chipping of original hood plastic or paint on base and bulb housing. This lamp is in near mint condition. A collector's interest item. Standard 120 volt ~ 60 Hz , compatible with all US & Canadian power requirements. Height adjustable to 44". On/Off switch on lamp base. Max Bulb 13Watt - GX23 Flourescent. The bulb is house in the 5cm x 5cm x 7cm cast metal lamp head, under a 5cm x 4cm x 22cm frosted white plastic lamp shade. The head is attached to a black metal round tube 51cm in length, with a clever joint which allows the head to rotate about its axis 360degrees as well a 0-90degree pivot on axis. The black metal round is the neck of the lamp and accounts for its long reach. The neck is attached to a large locking joint which allows for 0-90degree rotation. The ballast is housed in a 3.5cm x 6cm x 23cm cast metal casing which is attached to a 21cm diameter x 2.6cm (h) semi-circular base, with a pin joint, allowing for 180degree rotation. Swivel, pivot, swing, rotate, twist and lock this lamp into position for the task. This lamp is a highly coveted collectible; low opening bid price! No Reserve! Don't pass it up.
