The "MIck's" favorite picture of himself. This photograph taken Sept. 16th 1956 in Boston Mass in his triple crown year. This photo has been accepted by the hall of fame in cooperstown NY from a selection of over 25 years of entries and is claimed by "the Mick" to be " the greatest photograph of myself". Mickey Mantle personally autographed in 1985 this photograph for me at a card show, purchase price was $150.00. This unique autographed piece would be a wonderful collection for any fan of baseball, especially a yankee fan. It was orginally taken in black and white and hand painted by well known artist Yvette Andreoni by using photographic oils and reproduced for sale.
