I just had this piece listed as a Vintage Hull because I was told by the little old man and woman at a flea market that they were authentic and he showed me the markings on the bottoms. He said he got all his stuff at auctions. [I will just bet you that if I went back over t today he would have another authentic cookie jar from the gross that he has stored in the back of his shop and that he and his wife had a good laugh all the way home that night on the one they put over on the lady [me] who bought three pieces from them that day thinking she got such a great deal. Just as my sister, granddaughter and I had such a good time on our way home over the bargains that I had talked them out of. You wouldn't believe how much I talked him down from his original $125 on the cookie jar]. My vast Hull knowledge comes from glancing a few times at the Red Riding Hood page in the Hull book that I got from the library several months ago. At any rate, a few days into my listing, I received a message that the pieces I had listed were just copies of HULL. Since I have a 100% feedback rating as an Ebay participant, I do not want to jeopardize this by offering articles that are misrepresented in any way so I put that information on the listing.
