Authentic field found indian stone axe. 3/4 groove. 4 1/4"x 3". Greenish brown granite, with brown ground stain patina
throughout. Nice polished groove & bit. Bottom is flat and the piece stands well for display. The blade tapers down slightly. The poll is short & rounded. The top of the blade is ridged. T are two small plow marks. One is on the side of the blade. The other is on one side of the bit. Neither effect the shape. This axe was in the Guy Brothers collection. It was purchased by Floyd Ritter in 2007. I purchased it from Mr. Ritter also in 2007. It is from Madison, Co. Ill. 14day money back guarantee on authenticity,(less shipping). I've placed a reserve on this axe to protect my investment. The plow scrape on the bit can be seen in the picture showing the bottom of the axe with the tag. I'm pointing this out in an effort for full discloser.
