AUTHENTIC CHARLESTON, SC ~ GULLAH SWEETGRASS BASKET by Leola Wright Offered for you today is the lovely Charleston, SC Gullah sweetgrass basket shown in the photos. This basket is in near-perfect condition. No tears or breaks in any of the weavings. It has that really famous "Gullah" type handle woven right into the basket. Just a beautiful little piece of history! It measure about 5" wide and about 5" tall to the top of the handle.I do combine shipping to save you money if you buy more than one lot. I will carefully pack your items for safe arrival. Thanks for looking at my auction.Payment is due immediately with "Buy it Now". For auction items, payment is requested within 3 days of auction close. Items usually ship within 24 hours of cleared payment. I do my best to accurately describe and picture items, but am not an expert. Shipping charges are automatically calculated using PayPals calculator, I add only $0.50 for new packing materials. The post office continues to raise their rates, so if shipping seems high to you, it's because that's what the post office charges. Also, eBay takes 9% of all postage charges, and charges all sellers a "final value fee/commission of 9 - 12%. In addition, PayPal charges sellers for use of their service, which eBay requires a seller to use, (funny, isn't it, that eBay owns PayPal?). Please take all of that into consideration when you purchase an item. What you pay isn't what the seller receives. Please ask questions before bidding. Preferred payment is PayPal as required by eBay. Pennsylvania residents must pay 6% sales tax on all items except clothing.
