We are pleased to offer an Authentic Handel Ware Humidor. Pieces such as this were made between 1902-1905. Described in the "Handel Lamps Painted Shades & Glassware" book as follows: "Humidor of dice form in opal glass, realistically painted on the exterior with a scene of two gray squirrels eating nuts while perched on a leafy branch, on a shaded green and russet ground, applied with metal collar, the plain gilt metal cover surmounted by a knop in the form of a tobacco pipe". This Handel Humidor has the Design Number "#4091/L", the mark is the stamped HANDEL WARE shield. Measures 6 7/8" to top of pipe, 5 3/4" wide. This piece is Artist Signed "Kelsey" who was one of the Design and Decorating Department members. Terrific hand decorated piece of Handel Ware. Condition is good with no chips, no cracks but does need a good cleaning. This is a great piece of Handel Ware which is hard to come by. Thanks and please contact us if you have any questions.
