Thank you. **** You are bidding on an pre-owned authentic Hermes Silver "Oeil" magnifying glass. Oeil is the French word for Eye and as you can see this beautiful item is shaped like an eye. I purchased this at Hermes on Madison Avenue in August of this year. Regrettably, my desk has become too overcrowded and I feared I would knock it off so I put it back in the box and have decided to sell it to someone who'll really use it. In like new condition, no scratches. As with any silver item, this will tarnish and will need to be polished. Some tarnish has already begun developing in the creases of the design. I'm not sure if this is solid silver or silver-plate so please bid accordingly. You can always call an Hermes boutique to see if they know the answer. Items sells at Hermes (if you can find one) for $245.00. I had to have this one source from the various stores in the US and it took several weeks for them to find one. Since the item is in like new condition I'm selling it for $199.00. Comes with the original Hermes box, felt storage bag, hermes ribbon and I'll include a copy of the store receipt.
