RIGHT UP FRONT, I have to say that I am not an expert at identifying types of arrowheads. We are using the books that were part of my father's collection to attempt to identify these as best as we can. (Perino's and Bell's "Guide to the ID of Certain American Indian Projectile Points" No. 1-4.) is a small paleo knife (about 4 inches long). The material is a tan color, and has a slight sheen or polish to it (lends very nice color to the display!). Also, the blade seems fairly slender compared with most of the paleo blades in the collection. ABOUT THE JOHN FERGUSON COLLECTION: The authentic Indian arrowheads and Central American artifacts being sold in our auctions are ALL from my father's estate. My father, John H. Ferguson, was an avid lifelong collector and one of his larger collections was Indian arrowheads and other Native American artifacts. He was featured in the 1984 book, Who's Who in Indian Relics, No. 6 (see photo of one of his pages from the book). After visually and physically inspecting the entire collection of arrowheads, a former director of the AACA has assured us that the entire arrowhead collection and antiquities collection is authentic (with the exception of one piece that may have been "repaired," and a few pieces that he felt might be a reproduction - these pieces will be so noted in the descriptions, and you may judge for yourself). Also, at his recommendation, some of the arrowheads in the collection have been appraised by Dwain Rogers. These pieces will be offered soon. Also, I have become a member of AACA (Authentic Artifact Collectors Association), and ad to that organization's rules for artifact representation. Guarantee : Buyers, be assured that I will be happy to take return on any artifact (in original condition) within 30 days' of auction end and refund your purchase if you are not satisfied with regard to the artifact's authenticity, no questions asked. (You are responsible for shipping and any authentication costs you might incur.) Since I ship within two business days' of auction end, this will give you ample time to inspect your purchase. Thank you, and I hope you enjoy bidding on this fine collection. Shipping/payment: (Domestic shipping) - I love to combine shipping! Less work for me, less money for you! Just let me know after a winning auction, and I'll charge you exact shipping, priority mail, when you are ready to check out. (Up to 10 small arrowheads can go in one priority mail package for only $4.60.) (International shipping) - We will charge you ONLY exact shipping for method of your choice, NO HANDLING CHARGES.
