This is an Authentic Indian Bannerstone or Axe Artifact. I purchased this item some years ago at a moving sale. The woman who sold it to me said her husband who passed away use to find indian artifacts on farm lands in Kankakee, IL. He also found artifacts along the Kankakee River. He put a drop of white paint or whiteout near the tip and it is marked 49, ILL. She had no idea what type of artifact it was but I looked through a book and found a description that came close to mine and it was described as a bannerstone. Some people think it is an axe or a ceremonial piece. This item is in very good condition. The surface is very smooth. It measures about 6 inches in length and the middle measures about 2, 1/4. inches in width. T is one very small chip at the end as you can see in the last photo. T are a few very tiny nicks on the one side also shown in the photo. Let me know if you have any questions. I will include Insurance and Delivery Confirmation on the item. I accept Money Orders & Personal Checks. I will have to wait from 7 to 10 days for the check to clear. I,m sorry but I do not accept paypal. Thankyou for looking.
