Authentic Jewel Tea Autumn Leaf Fort Pitt Baker Offered for your consideration is this Jewel Tea Autumn 12 oz. individual oval Fort Pitt baker. According to the Jewel Tea literature, you could bake and serve in the same dish. It is listed in The Jewel Tea Company - It's History and Products 2 nd Edition by C.L. Miller on page 92. This baker has obviously only been displayed and never used. T are no chips, cracks or repairs. The colors are bright and the gold trim is complete. The inside is clean and bright with no utensil marks. This is a beautiful item, but I want potential buyers to be aware that it is an antique and t is some minor evidence of handling that in no way detracts from the appearance of this rare collectable. T are very minor scuffs on the gold band at the ends of the baker. They are actually not as bad as they appear in the pictures. Flash from the camera looks like flaws in the gold trim as well. These minute flaws do not detract from the beauty of this rare collectable, but must to be mentioned for accuracy. The baker is back stamped "HALL'S SUPERIOR QUALITY KITCHENWARE Tested and Approved Mary Dunbar Jewel Homemaker's Institute." The authenticating 571 1/2 back stamp is present as well. As you can see, this item is in excellent condition. I absolutely guarantee this to be an authentic original vintage Fort Pitt baker. If you are a serious collector of Jewel Tea, Autumn Leaf, Mary Dunbar, or Hall products this is a must have for your collection. Thank you for visiting my auction.
