This auction is for an early 2 1/2" blade/point from the East Central region of the U.S. The point is part of the collection I have been selling out of for the past month, collected in the 40-50s. This point was not labeled with a location of find but the patination and material appear to be from the E.C. region. Like everything we sell, I will stand by the authenticity of the point. This piece appears to be at least "late" Paleo, having short fluting on both faces and light lateral edge grinding. The lithic has a fault line running down the center of the point and the maker had problems thinning the point at the mid-line on one face, developing a stack. It is still a good old point. No Reserve Auction! My artifacts are all sold with a lifetime guarantee of authenticity and a 2 week return for any reason. Shipping will be US Postal service priority mail and a flat cost of $6.00.
