Authentic German WWII helmet. I don't know much about it, I found it in my Grandfather's storage shed when cleaning it out. I do know that he was in Metz, France during WWII. He didn't talk much more about his time oversees during the war. From what little I have researched, it has the Luftwaffe insignia on the side. It is not extremely visible. This helmet is a rolled rim with the number 13746 on one side and some letters I cannot make out but then the number 64 on the other side. This is the smaller of the two helmets I have and the chin strap is not in place. Please see all pictures and feel free to ask any questions as this is a no return auction. According to the ebay rules, I am NOT selling this as any symbol of hatred toward anyone. It is just a nice piece of history offered and as much as I hate to part with the things I will be offering, his home is in much needed repair that I will be footing the bill for.
