AUTHENTIC INDIAN PAPOOSE CRADLE BOARD FOX FUR, LEATHER ABSOLUTELY STUNNING NATIVE AMERICANPAPOOSE CRADLE BOARD This is an absolutely stunning Navajo hand crafted fox fur cradle board! This incredible piece is made with real leather and adorned with a full fox pelt. The Navajo people have used cradle boards for generations to carry infants. Some tribes still use the cradle board to this day. This stunning piece features fur, feather and dream catcher accents. This outstanding Native American cradle boards is in excellent vintage condition. It is a full size board measuring approximately 26" x 10". The board itself is wrapped completely in leather (front and back) and ornately decorated with handbeaded rosettes and beadwork designs down the front and around the headpiece. The inside body of the leather enclosure is lined with rabit fur for ultimate baby soft comfort. The board has leather fringe around the sides and bottom. It has 2 leather shoulder straps on the back for carrying. It appears that everything on this old cradle board is handmade and authentic, mostly made of animal hides . I am certainly no expert or even amateur on Native American items, but I am certain that this is Native American made and all authentic materials.
