Right out of an Upstate New York barn. This authentic primitive double hung ox yoke is in wonderful condition for its age. Mid 1800's for sure, this ox yoke measures just over 48" across and displays great. Double iron rings on the original hand hammered hanger. All original. No pieces missing or replaced or married and no water damage. This ox yoke came right off of the wall of the barn and had not seen the light of day for many many years. Untouched. Just dusted it off. I mis-spoke and apoligize........the original wooden or iron pegs that hold the collars in place on the yoke are no longer t The yoke was hung up side down in the barn and the collars held tight to the yoke. They are easily removed for shipping. Please ask questions before bidding.
