NICE EXAMPLE OF AN ORIGINAL NUMBER 3 SHAKER ROCKER!! This rocker was manufactured for the worlds use. The rocker still retains its original green wool taped seat and back. The tape has faded over the years as shown in one of the photos. The original green tape was much darker. This rocker also has its original Shaker label on the bottom left rocker as shown. Nice original lightly worn finish, tapered front spindles with no breaks or repairs apparent without removing the original tape seat. The rocker measures 34" to the top of the finial and 15" to the top of the seat. I have owned this rocker for several years and I purchased it a at Garth's Auction. Reasonable low reserve on this nice piece of Americana. I have found that shipping through DSL trucking is the least expensive route for a large box.
