AUTHENTIC Victorian Silver Figural Napkin Ring Hello, and welcome to my auction. I have for you a wonderful piece from the Victorian Table. A silverplatd figural napkin ring of a little young boy pushing a napkin ring. The charming little fellow is in a sailor suit with a dandy kercheif about his neck and a straw hat and ribbon on his head. This is the plain napkin ring version of this, #161. The other version has the boy rolling a barrel shaped napkin ring. The bottom of the ring is stamped "MERIDEN B. COMPANY" and "161". This napkin ring is found in the reference book by Gottschalk & Whitson, "Figural Napkin Rings..." It is on page 263, plate 649 Size: 2 1/2" tall x 3" long x 1 1/2" wide Condition: Good. No dents, slight rough edge along the rim of the napkin ring, on one side, a little out of round t..very slight. This piece looks as though it may have been resilvered and is flaking in a few places.
