Homerun Classics is proud to offer a fantastic Brearley Collection black-white photo of Red Sox legend TED WILLIAMS crossing home plate following a home run during the 1941 Major League Baseball ALL-STAR GAME. This black and white photograph (approximately 16" h x 20 w") was hand-signed by WILLIAMS in GOLD Sharpie marker across the top left of the photograph. The signature begins to the left of the home plate umpire and finishes on his waist. Mr. Williams hand-signed this photo in a private signing session on June 23, 1996 in Hernando, Florida. It was arranged by Mr. John-Henry Williams and the photo was sold to American Sports Classics, Inc., which was one of three authorized distributors of genuine Ted Williams memorabilia. Homerun Classics acquired this photo and other items within American Sports Classics' inventory in 2005. Authenticity This photo was thoroughly examined and inspected by a professional authenticator from PSA/DNA on December 3, 2009. It was deemed authentic and assigned the following record locator ( J26351) which can be verified on the PSA/DNA website (). The actual PSADNA sticker is affixed to the lower left-hand corner of the photo.The buyer will receive a Letter of Authenticity (LOA) as issued by PSA/DNA to prove the authenticity of Mr. Williams' signature on the photo.
