Snappy Auctions Payment - Shipping - Returns - About Us Authentic Vintage Antique German Beer Stein Mug K+M+B This No Reserve auction is for a very nice Authentic, Vintage 1/2 Liter German Beer Stein. We are not sure of the exact age of the stein, believe to be from the 1940's - 1950's. The owner of the stein got it in 1967 from her parent's estate but believes they had it even back in the 1940's or 50's, if not earlier. The stein is marked "Gelegenheit Macht Diebe", and the scene on the stein features a pub with patrons setting around and a man and woman kissing. The lid is attached to the handle and we believe it is made of pewter or possibly silver. Overall the beer stein is in very good condition for its age, with no cracks, chips or breaks.
