This listing and all of my current listings are from a woman who made and collected clothing for over 50 years. Although she named and dated much of her material, this current group of material I am listing comes from a box of unidentified fabric, lace and trim. For a long time, we did not know what to do with the material since it is unidentified - but we recently decided to simply post the fact that we are not sure of what this material is and let you, the purchaser, figure it out. At least one overall shot and one detail image will exist for each piece to aid in your identification. We will also provide basic measurements. I tried to group together pieces that look similar and, in that attempt, I have this grouping. T are seven pieces total. The top three pieces in the first image are in one group - a collar and two cuffs made of white fabric with white on white embroidery (collar is 12" x 3-1/4" and cuffs are 7" x 3"). The collar shows some signs of wear with some staining and a small hole at the center back. The white on white embroidery appears to be a fruited plant or something of the like. The two cuffs down the center horizontal line are made of white fabric with white lace on the outer edge. Each piece is 9.5" long and is 3-1/4" wide. They are both in very good condition. The piece in the top left-hand corner is a collar with white on white embroidery. T are many various techniques so a close-up is provided. T are blossoms with intricate interiors, cross-bars, flora and fauna and "starbursts". The entire outside edge is scalloped with small spikes and the inside edge shows some signs of wear. This piece is still in good condition. (Inside neck is 15.5" long. The final piece had a note on it stating it was a "bloomer hem" and is made of white cotton with white on white embroidery. Very cool. The inside hem has been opened so the piece is one long panel. The length is 21" and is 6" wide. Some signs of wear.
