Authentic Wooden Lobster Trap Slant Sides Flat Top This auction is for a very unique lobster trap. The trap is wooden, has netting sides and is handmade. The rings inside the trap are made from tree twigs or branches. This trap is very much like the one you will be bidding on. To save time, I have photographed one that most represents the traps available. They measure approximately 28" long, 21" wide and 13" tall. It has been previously used as an actual trap to catch lobster. It still has the plastic lobsterman's id tag on it. This trap opens up on the top, with an open close lid. This trap is a great nautical decoration for your home or restaurant, yard decor, flower garden addition, or you can make a great coffee table with it. Just lay a piece of glass on the top, put some shells inside and you have a great conversation piece. This trap is weatd, but in good condition. We only ship these traps via Fed Ex. Please be sure and ask for a quote before bidding on this trap. This trap weighs approximately 20 lbs. We take great time and care wrapping these traps in large sheets of cardboard for added protection. We do charge an $8.00 wrapping, packing and handling fee on top of the actual shipping cost as we pay for them to be wrapped.
