ESTATE FRESH! WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET! We just found it in an attic in a trunk and all items in this lot came from the same Vet's estate. Most of the items have the original owners name on it. Seeing that all of the items in this lot have been together all this time i figured i would try to keep it all together as a lot first before breaking it all up. If my reserve is not met i will break it up. The little first aid booklet that is non military is the only thing that was not originally with this lot. I found it in the attic of the home and since it hand the same brand name as the first aid kit i added it in. The first aid book dates post WWI (1925) Everything else in this lot is dated 1917 or 1918. The first aid kit is dated 1917, The first aid pouch is dated 1918, the cup, pouch & canteen are dated 1918, the cup & canteen is LF&C. The haversack & cover are dated 1917, the mess kit is dated 1918. I can not read the date on the belt or the meat pouch. the meat pouch has both leather liners. Nothing is torn, stained, ripped or rotted. No holes. The original owner took tan paint and painted small parts of the canvas to create an area for his name. On the first aid pouch t is a small B&B JR first aide legion member pin back. Other some some dust the lot is in excellent condition and look as if it was not worn or used much.
