AUTHENTIC WWII JAPANESE SUN "MEATBALL" BATTLE FLAG SIGNED- BROUGHT BACK BY GI IN 1943 We got this flag in a box of items belonging to a GI who was in WWII during 1943. T were actually 2 flags in the box and we've placed the other flag on another auction. The flag measures approximately 26 inches x 32 inches and doesn't have holes, but has a lot of stains (some could be blood?), two edges have ties on them, and t are signatures on the flag. We cannot understand Japanese so we can't translate any writing on the flag. The flag is made of silk. Winner bidder will receive name of GI who brought this flag back. If you have any questions, please email us at . Thanks for looking...take a look at our other auctions or our site atGOD BLESS AMERICA and GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS!! NOTE: We found copies of this GI's honorable discharge and he served in WWII from 1941 to 1945. He was wounded in the Battle of Luzon and received a Purple Heart in August 1945. We will give the winning bidder this GI's name.
