Another gorgeous MASSIVE solid brass/bronze ship's porthole from WWII troop transport ship the USNS General Alexander M. Patch AP122, launched April 1944, [ship shown in photo #5]. Old paint has been removed and ready for your polish or leave natural (usual preference). Weighs approx. 90 pounds. Glass is aged, but no cracks or chips (good visibility). Glass measures 16" across x 3/4" thick. Frame outside mounting flange edge to edge 20 1/2". Hinged bronze cover can be easily removed if preferred. This great nautical collectible is ideal for your maritime decor of home den, club/bar, or restaurant.
