AUTHENTIC XIX CENTURY CAUCASIAN GEORGIAN KINDJAL This is a beautiful, original, Georgian dagger, crafted in the late XIX century. Rare and impressive size: total length is 61.5 cm (24.2 inch), blade length is 43.5 cm (17.1 inch), blade width is 4.3 cm (1.7 inch). Very good condition for it's age. Blade is hand-made of hard, combat quality steel and is very sharp. Original horn-made handle. The ornamets are made from silver, including the buttons on the handle. Beautiful nielo work on the scabbard details, with a elaborate decorative motif and a picture of the bird with a flower on the back. Some Georgian language inscription is lightly scratched on the back of the scabbard, too. Scabbard leather appears to have been craftfully replaced. Shipping & Handling for this item is $19 (for US contiguous 48 states). Do not ship to P.O. Box.
