This is authentic Native American pottery made by hand and fired in a kiln. I believe it to have come from the Zia Pueblo in New Mexico between 1940 and 1976. The particular decoration on this piece of pottery is shown on page 79 of the Betty Toulouse book entitled "Pueblo Pottery of the New Mexican Indians". The colors are warm and earthy; a brownish red, black and a cream color. This pot is large enough to be a great decorative addition. The condition is good, with a little wear consistent with the age. Look this piece over and email me if you have questions, or information. I will make more pictures if you need them.
