This Beautiful Authentic Native American Hand Coiled Zia Pueblo Pottery Olla.It has a stone polished finish on the bottom, 2 birds and traditional designs throughout.This was made by, "Reyes Pino Medina" and is signed on the side by her before the firing process so the signature is baked on! Reyes was taught the art of pottery making by her two aunts Serafina Bell and Kathy Pino which are both well known for their pottery making skills!Reyes is now married into the Medina Family and is refining her pottery even more with the help from her mother- in- law, Sofia Medina! !!!!VERY GOOD PIECE OF ART FOR INVESTMENT!!!! This Magnificent Olla measures 4 7/8 inches high x approximately 6 1/4" inches in diameter . This piece from Zia is Natural Pigment painted with 3 different colors (Also known as a Polychrome) using yucca instead of a brush. It is in good condition, no chips or cracks.
