Copy of Edgarâe(tm)s book Six Roads from Abilene, which is referenced in this letter. You are bidding on a signed letter from President Dwight D. Eisenhower to his older brother Edgar N. Eisenhower. Dwight is sending Edgar a letter regarding Dwightâe(tm)s review of Edgarâe(tm)s book Six Roads From Abilene . Edgar was born on January 19, 1889 and Dwight was born on October 14, 1890. The two were always very close as they grew up in Abilene, KS. They remained very close despite living on opposite sides of the United State most of their adult lives. This letter has interesting content with Dwight ribbing Edgar as to his (or John McCallumâe(tm)s) writing which shows that Dwight read the book very carefully. T are of course some few minor differences in our memories as the details of particular incidents; these differences I charitably ascribe to your advanced age.
