You are bidding on Apollo 12 astronaut Alan Bean's book titled "Apollo" Autographed by Apollo 17 Astronaut Eugene Cernan! This great book was given to me by Apollo 17 astronaut Gene Cernan as a Christmas gift in 1998. I worked at the Johnson Space Center in Houston Texas for 18 years and was lucky enough to have worked for and with Gene on many projects. Apollo 17 astronaut Gene Cernan was the last man to walk on the Moon in December of 1972. He has also flown on Gemini 9 and Apollo 10. This book features some of astronaut's Alan Bean greatest works, because astronaut Bean is also a moon walker his paintings were inspired by his personal journeys while on the lunar surface. This book will make a great addition to anyone's Apollo collection!Astronaut Gene Cernan is an American Hero, a great person and a friend! I have enjoyed having this gifts for many year.The book's condition is excellent, only the outer cover shows some wear as shown in the photos, I have had this gift for 12 years.
