THE FLASH TV SERIES PRESS KIT - AUTOGRAPHED BY JOHN WESLEY SHIPP ANDAMANDA PAYS Up for sale is a n extremely rare item. The press kit for the TV series, The Flash . The series was based on the D.C. Comics character (and this long before the current super hero craze). The series starred Jo hn Wesley S hipp as Barry Allen (and his alter-ego , the super-fast Flash) and Amanda Pays as Christina McGee. The kit includes the original folder (which, as you can tell from the scans, has quite a lot of rub wear - not my bad as it was that way when I bought it from a Los Angeles memorabilia store), announcement story, cast, production notes, and 10 glossy press/promo photos (see scans)! 2 of the photos are 7" x 9", the rest are 8" x 10". Shipp has autographed 4 of the photos, Pays 3 of them. Some are personalized, some are not (see scans). The remainder of the photos feature actress Paula Marshall who played Iris West, Allen's girlfriend (well, at least initially but the producers soon found the chemistry between the two leads made her part unnecessary and so the character was quickly written out of the series). The folder has more than the usual amount of rub wear associated with such a piece, a few creases near the spine. The interior paperwork is in excellent condition.
