The item up for auction this fine holiday season is one of the many John Lennon autographs I have enjoyed displayed on my own walls over the years. It is beautifully signed and John dated it 75 below the signature, with "love" above. The signature is on the front of the cover for the album titled "Imagine", an amazing solo work from Lennon. The auction will include only the cover, t is no record included. The condition of the cover is beautiful and is from the original first pressing of this release. The plastic-like coating on the cover is still t, only slightly coming loose at some edge areas. As both a Lennon fan and general memorabilia and autograph collector, I can tell you that this is overall one of the nicer items I have. T's just something special about it, the signature style and era in which it was signed and the cover photo with the hazy, foggy, dreamy look and this album itself seem to epitomize the music and artistry of Lennon. I had offered this piece once before on ebay, many months ago, and the person who won it sort of evaporated into thin air from ebay so they never paid for this. I decided maybe that was a sign that I should just keep it. So I did for ahwile, and enjoyed it as much as I had the first time around. But now I'm ready to sell again. I always buy and sell so much because I get tired of looking at the same old things and I go through new phases of interest all the time, so it feels like trading then, and it justifies the money I spend on new items because I make it right back on my older, recycled "trade" item. Very low starting bid as you can see, with no reserve. I have tried all kinds of auction styles but I just really like this old fashioned way of starting out at a buck. More fun to watch then and I'm sure more fun to bid on. PERSONAL GUARANTEE AND LOA: As my own personal guarantee, I'm including a personal letter of authenticity. This is my good faith guarantee that I'm comfortable enough with the item's authenticity to put my name w my mouth is.Plus,it might be nice to have some documentation if you decide to sell the item at some point.It's nothing fancy,just a typed letter with my own signature along with the name of the item and any small details that would set this item apart from others like it, I guess you'd say the item's birthmarks so to speak.This eliminates any misuse or alterations of this documentation,which at some point in the future may protect another collector from being ripped off,getting a fake item that resembles the original and using my paperwork to peddle their faulty goods to someone who thinks the item has solid provenance. REFUNDS: I will only accept a return within 7 days. Exceptions only made with my prior approval. Please be aware of the fact that I can not and just simply will not issue a refund under any circumstances to a buyer until the item they intend to return is in my hands and in same condition as it was sent. You need to use a shipping method that requires me to sign for the return package. This way,you will know when I have it and won't convince yourself and everybody else that I have it when I do not and insist that I am just refusing to give your money back. This avoids confrontations, unwarranted retaliatory actions, claims being filed and a negative feedback for either of us. The signature requirement will give us both peace of mind, in addition it prevents the package from being left outside w it's a free for all and likely to end up stolen pretty quickly. I've had some very bad problems with this exact kind of situation lately which have resulted in a virtual battlefield and I won't deal with that again. PAYMENT : Due in 7 days, please.
